ABOUT ME
I am a cosmopolitan type: born and raised in Russia I moved to Canada and on to end up in Los Angeles, CA. I hold Master Degree in Computer Science from the Moscow State University. And I am also a published media author.
My computer science background melted well with my journalistic experience, and hardened by a color strip of cities and countries I lived in, they cast into my desire to write. I believe that true literature is about people. My stories, above all, are about all of us.
I was dreaming about being a writer once I started to read. That path didn’t look like a practical life decision though, so I chose to major in math. As strange as it might seem, a technology degree didn’t kill my desire to be a writer.
I love to read women’s fiction. Guess why? Because I am one.
One of my favorite authors is French novelist Francoise Sagan. I adore her books because they are about true emotions and deep feelings. Consider this: “A dress makes no sense unless it inspires men to take it off of you.” Here she mentions a dress but it’s about passion not a piece of cloths. This is how I want to write myself :-)
